Transport to San Galgano

What to Expect: Transportation will be provided for those traveling to the wedding venue from Rome. This scenic ride will take you from the hustle & bustle of Ancient Rome to the tranquil countryside of wine country in Tuscany. Seating is limited, please reserve your seat when you RSVP.
Things to Note: Vatican City can be very congested with tourists, please give yourself time to arrive and locate the designated meeting point. The ride will take approximately 2 hours. Exact location will be emailed directly to those who reserve a seat.
WELCOME EVENT

Time: 5:00 - 11:00 PM
What to Expect: Tuscany is renowned for its wood-fired pizza. In the main courtyard you will enjoy cocktails and live pizza making along with an extended menu of culinary delights, desserts and dancing.
Things to Note: Dressy casual attire for dinner and dancing. You will want to be prepared with a light jacket as temperature may drop after night fall.

Wedding Ceremony

What to Expect: The wedding ceremony will take place in one of the most important church ruins in Italy. The open air cathedral was built in the 13th century in the remote country-side of Tuscany.
Aperitivo
Address: TERRI DI SAN GALGANO
Time: 4:00 - 5:30PM
What to Expect: The aperitivo is a cultural ritual of pre-dinner drinks and appetizers. The tradition is meant “to open” the stomach before dining. For centuries Italians have said cheers – cin cin – over drinks and appetizers.
Formal Dinner

Fireworks & After Party

No transportation is required for the wedding events. Everything is located on the estate a short walk away from your room. Please note the ground is gravel so be mindful of footwear. 👠👠
